Pivotal Game Two Goes to Host Yankees, 6-5
The New York Yankees took the second game of the World Series in dramatic fashion today, topping the Los Angeles Angels in a ninth-inning, walk-off, 6-5 win. Angels right-hander Wally Berger was selected player of the game despite the loss, as he was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI.

Red Rolfe was the walk-off hero for New York. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Yankees third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I felt good up there," said Rolfe. "I saw the ball well."

Game 3 is scheduled for tomorrow at Yankee Stadium in New York. The scheduled starters for the game are Ralph Buxton for the Los Angeles Angels and Waite Hoyt for the the New York Yankees.
