Cronin Strokes 5 Hits Monday, October 19th, 1931 Joe Cronin did more than his part as the Sacramento Solons topped the Philadelphia Athletics today at Moreing Park. The Solons shortstop pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 8-4 thumping of the Athletics.
