Hack Stretches Hit String to 20

Stan Hack's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Sacramento third baseman smacked 1 hit against the San Francisco Seals in today's game at Moreing Park, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Solons drop the game, 4-1.

"I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly."
Stan Hack flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.

On the year Hack is hitting .330 with 145 hits, no home runs, 45 RBIs, .420 OBP and has scored 87 runs.
