Hot Iron Burns Angels Brewer Tuesday, July 15th, 1941 Angels starting pitcher Chet Brewer required medical attention yesterday after severely burning himself in his hotel room. Brewer apparently burned leg while ironing a pair of pants, but shrugged off suggestions that he may have actually been wearing the pants while ironing them. "I'm seriously not that stupid," said Brewer. "The iron just slipped and came down against my leg. No big mystery." |
