Dasso Holds Solons Scoreless Monday, July 14th, 1941 The bats were ice cold today for the Sacramento Solons at Moreing Park. Hollywood Stars starter Frank Dasso kept the Solons cold all day, shutting them out in a 5-0 victory. In a fine outing, the 23-year-old hurler allowed 3 hits while striking out 3 and walking 4. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Dasso admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves."
