More Injury Problems For Hollywood's Martín Dihigo Sunday, June 29th, 1941 Martín Dihigo's return to the Hollywood Stars has been delayed. The 36-year-old third baseman has been in treatment for thumb contusion and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. Upon examination by team doctors they reported that there had been further damage and Dihigo will not be back as originally diagnosed. He will now be out at least 4 days. Currently Dihigo is hitting .303 and has collected 5 home runs, 28 RBIs and scored 52 times, while playing in 61 games. |
