Los Angeles Pitcher Named PCL's #1 Player

Ray Prim doesn't have the arm of a youngster, but he's still capable of putting together quality stretches of baseball. Last week was one such instance as Prim cruised to 2 wins and no losses for the Los Angeles Angels and took the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week Award.
The 31-year-old was at the top of his game last week, eating up 16 innings while posting a 0.56 ERA. He struck out 5 and walked 3.
This year Prim has gone 6-6 with an ERA of 4.36 and has 53 strikeouts in 115.2 innings.
