The 39-year-old San Diego Padres center fielder might not have the spring he had in his step years ago, but the "old man" can still play the game. Oscar Charleston has been a reliable ballplayer, one who has worked hard to earn everything he's achieved and today he sits on top of the heap as he was named the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week.

He went 10-for-19 to rack up a .526 average with 2 home runs and 6 RBI this past week. Charleston also scored 7 runs.

For the season Charleston has hit .339 with 3 home runs and 37 RBIs. He has played in 50 games and scored 36 times.
