Walsh Spins Shutout Thursday, July 9th, 1936 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Los Angeles Angels as starter Ed A Walsh shut out the Los Angeles Angels 12-0 at Wrigley Field L.A.. The San Diego pitcher struck out 1 and walked 3 while allowing 5 hits. "Walsh was good but he wasn't flawless," Los Angeles manager Al Borie said later.
