The Los Angeles Angels ace certainly has the numbers to take it, topping the Pacific Coast League with 24 wins, 2.43 ERA and 283 strikeouts to win the Pitching Triple Crown. "It's a great accomplishment," Paige told reporters, "but my main goal is to go out there and win every game. The stats are nice, but they don't tell the whole story. The 24 wins are what I'm most proud of." |
