Oakland Shut Out by Thomas
Friday, July 6th, 1934
It was a quiet day for the Oakland Oaks at Moreing Park today -- a little too quiet. Sacramento Solons starter Fay Thomas silenced the Oaks, holding them to 2 hits and keeping them scoreless in a complete game effort.

"It was frustrating against Thomas today," Oakland manager Pete Grassi said.

The Sacramento starting pitcher walked 0 and allowed 2 hits while fanning 5.

This year Thomas has compiled a 10-1 mark with a 2.66 ERA in 15 starts.
