PCL Names Top Player of the Week

His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Willie Wells was rewarded with the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week honors.
The scrappy Seattle Rainiers shortstop hit .406 while collecting 13 hits in 32 at-bats, 4 home runs and 15 RBIs.
Thus far this year Wells has hit .272 with 14 home runs and 43 RBIs.
