Mission's Dutch Ruether Suffers Setback Saturday, August 13th, 1932 The Mission Bells received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Dutch Ruether would miss even more time than had previously been expected. Ruether, who is currently out with a torn labrum, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 38-year-old starting pitcher will have to spend another 5-6 months in treatment. |
