Washington-St. Louis Trade: Dobernic for Medwick Saturday, July 19th, 1941 Washington and St. Louis announced some roster changes today as the Senators acquired 29-year-old LF Joe Medwick from the Cardinals in exchange for 42-year-old RHP Bill M Harris, 23-year-old RHP Jess Dobernic and 22-year-old LF Jim Mallory. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. In this current campaign Medwick is hitting at a .346 clip with 1 home run and 24 RBIs. |
