Braves Listless in 8-0 Loss to Reds Monday, July 14th, 1941 The Cincinnati Reds rolled to an easy 8-0 win over the Boston Braves at Braves Field today. Leading the way to victory was starter Claude Passeau, who shackled the Boston Braves and held them scoreless on a 7-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Passeau said in his postgame press conference. To date this season Passeau has compiled a 6-8 record with a 3.66 ERA in 19 starts.
