Brooklyn Shuts Out Cardinals, Bremer Winner

Eugene Bremer shut 'em down and shut 'em out, hurling the Brooklyn Dodgers past the St. Louis Cardinals 2-0 in a complete game victory.
"This is a game of adjustments and I made some good ones in this game," he told BNN sportswriters in the postgame interview.
Bremer held the St. Louis Cardinals without a run, tossing a 7-hitter while walking 6 and fanning 2.
On the season Bremer has compiled a 7-6 mark with a 2.45 ERA in 13 starts. In pitching 113.2 innings he has 40 strikeouts and 32 walks while limiting the opposition to a .236 batting average.
