|
Chet Johnson spun his magic in a 7-0 shutout victory at Gilmore Field today, leading the Hollywood Stars to victory, 7-0 over the Seattle Rainiers. The Hollywood pitcher put quite a spell on Seattle in a strong performance, allowing 3 hits while totaling 3 walks and 7 strikeouts.
"I had a lot of good things working in this one," Johnson said. "I worked both sides of the plate. I was rarely behind in the count."
So far this season Johnson has a 7-4 record, 17 starts, 154 innings, 76 strikeouts and a 3.33 ERA.
