					| The Hollywood Stars defeated the San Francisco Seals,  6-3, at Gilmore Field. Martín Dihigo was a standout performer for Hollywood. His 3 hits included 2 singles and 1 double, in addition to the 1 run he scored and 2 he knocked in. The winning pitcher was Bill Fleming. He tossed 140 pitches over 8.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 10 hits. The Stars raised their record to 38-59. 
 Joe Hoover had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the seventh for Hollywood. He came through with a 2-run  single to put Hollywood in front, 5-2.
