Solons Lose By a Run at Los Angeles, 3-2
|
The Los Angeles Angels defeated the Sacramento Solons, 3-2, in Pacific Coast League action at Wrigley Field L.A.. Los Angeles pitcher Jesse Flores had a standout performance. Flores got the win, improving to 8-5. He allowed 7 hits and walked 2 over 9 innings. Flores allowed 2 runs. Los Angeles is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Flores had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the seventh for the Angels. Coming up with the bases loaded and Los Angeles trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run single.
