Dandridge Stars for Seals in 10-7 Win
Ray Dandridge made an impact in the 10-7 San Francisco win over Hollywood. Dandridge, who finished 4th in the PCL in extra base hits with 64 in 1936, went 4 for 4 with 2 triples and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Reliever Charley Schanz picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Leon Day took the loss. The Stars drop to 7-14.

Quincy Trouppe went 2 for 3 with a double, while adding 3 RBI for San Francisco. The 28-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 7-7 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Wayne Osborne. It was his 11th RBI of the season.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Trouppe.
