Game Two Goes to Host Cardinals, 7-4
The St. Louis Cardinals stayed hot today, downing the visiting San Francisco Seals at Sportsman's Park by a score of 7-4. Cardinals right fielder Dixie Walker was named player of the game after he went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win gives the Cardinals a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-seven World Series.

Walker had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Cardinals went on to win.

"A great game, a great day," said Walker about the win. "I can't complain."

Game 3 is set to be played tomorrow. The scheduled starters for the game are Win Ballou for the San Francisco Seals and Paul Derringer for the the St. Louis Cardinals.
