The Hollywood Stars are heading to the playoffs.

While they couldn't win the Coast League, they will nonetheless get the opportunity to play for the franchise's 1st Nyquist Trophy Series.

"Don't overlook us as a wild card team, that's all I'll say," said starting pitcher Nip Winters.

That confidence and swagger has been characteristic of the Stars this season, with many feeling they are better than their 90-65 record indicates.
