Lundy Put on Shelf, Listed DTD Thursday, September 24th, 1931 Dick Lundy of the San Francisco Seals was hurt in yesterday's game with the Bells. He sustained a knee sprain while colliding with a player at a base and will be listed day-to-day. Team doctors said it could be 3 weeks before the standout shortstop will be completely healed. He could miss a few games. This season Lundy is batting .272 with 2 home runs. His totals include 33 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |
