Portland Beavers starting pitcher said it's "time to party" after his team clinched the Coast League.

"You work hard all season for it, so now it's time to let loose a little bit," he said. "We're best in the division and feeling good going into the playoffs."

It is the 3rd time that the Beavers have captured the division crown and the franchise will be seeking its 3rd Nyquist Trophy Series.

"How can you not be proud to call this your team?" said manager Mark Cooley. "This group makes it easy to come into work every day."
