Bud Teachout of the Seattle Rainiers whitewashed the San Francisco Seals 4-0 in a complete-game win, limiting them to 3 hits while chalking up 2 strikeouts and giving up 2 walks.

"He's got the makeup. He's not afraid to challenge guys," Seattle manager Jim Burns said to BNN reporters after the game. "Bud is poised out there. He knows how to pitch and how to use his stuff."

In season stats Teachout shows a 7-13 record in 23 games, 176.1 innings, 58 strikeouts and a 4.85 ERA.
