Cooper Gives Sacramento Goose Eggs Wednesday, October 2nd, 1929 Andy Cooper was impressive at Oaks Park today in the Oakland Oaks' 10-0 shutout victory over the Sacramento Solons. The Oakland pitcher mystified the Solons in a strong performance, giving up 2 hits and totaling 1 walk and 4 strikeouts. "Andy had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves," Oakland manager Carl Zamloch. "It was something special to watch." So far this year Cooper has a 20-15 record with a 3.96 ERA.
