Rojo and Koehler Traded Tuesday, July 31st, 1928 Done deal! The San Francisco Seals have agreed to send 34-year-old C Julio Rojo and 28-year-old RHP Buckshot May to the Oakland Oaks for 34-year-old C Art Koehler and a player to be named later. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning. Thus far this year Rojo is hitting .227 with 3 home runs, 20 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Presently Koehler is batting .309 with 1 home run and 22 RBIs. He has played in 32 games and scored 12 times. |
