Bad News For Torgeson and Seattle
Sunday, May 25th, 1941
Earl Torgeson, first baseman for the Seattle Rainiers, was making great progress in healing sprained finger according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "Earl was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least 6 days before he will be able to rejoin the club."
This year Torgeson is hitting .188 with 6 hits, no home runs, 2 RBIs and has scored 5 runs.
