Rainiers Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, September 19th, 1938 It has been a largely forgettable season for the Seattle Rainiers and now the club's playoff hopes are officially over. The Rainiers were officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Seattle last appeared in the postseason in 1935. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 15 times in their 17-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Rainiers have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
