Chaplin Stops San Francisco

"That was one of my best outings," said Tiny Chaplin. "I was worried a lot in the bullpen. My ball wasn't quite right. Luckily, it can be two different worlds -- the bullpen and the game. Once I stepped on the field, it all fell into place."

It was an impressive start for the Padres hurler. He blanked the Seals 1-0 on a strong 8-hitter while ringing up 1 strikeout and doling out 3 walks.

In 24 starts this year Chaplin has crafted a 10-17 record and a 5.17 ERA.
