Dandridge Goes on Rampage Against Solons
Monday, September 6th, 1937
It was high-fives all around for Ray Dandridge at Moreing Park today.

He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Sacramento Solons. Dandridge smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 10-3 win.

"Ray was hitting everything," said Seals manager Mark Velez. "It really was a special game for him."

In the opposing dugout, Solons manager Kurt Peterson told BNN beat writers that Dandridge "ambushed" the club.

"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Dandridge oversleeps next time."

Ray Dandridge doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

So far this season Dandridge is hitting .317 with no home runs, 80 RBIs and 60 runs scored. He has 141 hits in 445 at-bats and a .330 OBP.
