Broken Glass Cuts Seals Joiner Thursday, August 19th, 1937 Seals starting pitcher Roy Joiner received medical attention yesterday after accidentally cutting himself at his home. Joiner was apparently cleaning up broken glass from a shattered window when he sliced his right hand on a jagged shard. The cut required 10 stitches and will reportedly keep Joiner out of action for about 2 weeks. |
