Star of the Week Honored in PCL Monday, July 27th, 1936 It was a fantastic week for Oakland left fielder Harlin Pool and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week Award. Last week Pool hammered the ball at a torrid .531 pace, going 17-for-32 with no home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Pool is currently batting .352 with 1 home run and 54 RBIs. |
