Shellenback Pitches Mission to Shutout Win
Saturday, June 15th, 1935
In a very sharp performance at Seals Stadium, Frank Shellenback of the Mission Bells blanked the Hollywood Stars, 4-0. He permitted 3 hits and finished with 2 strikeouts and 1 walk in the Bells victory.

"Frank goes out there and just goes about his business," Bells manager Mike Heath said in his postgame press conference. "I don't think he gets too concerned about what's going on. No matter the pitch, you know he's going to be where he needs to be."

To date this season, Shellenback has registered 9 starts, 7-4 won-lost mark, 2.82 ERA, 79.2 IP, 22 strikeouts and 16 walks. Opposing teams have hit .259 against him.
