The Pacific Coast League season came to a close with Buck Leonard on top with a league-leading .383 batting average.

The 27-year-old Hollywood first baseman swung the bat well the entire season. He concluded the year with 222 hits, 41 doubles, 4 triples and 47 home runs with 130 runs scored and 134 RBIs.
