Thursday, September 27th, 1934
Pete Daglia of the Mission Bells humiliated the San Francisco Seals at Seals Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 9 hits.

"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said San Francisco manager Mark Velez, after the game.

Daglia whiffed 2 and walked 1 in the 5-0 win.

"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Daglia said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."

So far this season Daglia has compiled a 6-7 record with a 3.56 ERA.
