PCL's Top Player is Pillette

Herman Pillette doesn't have the arm of a youngster, but he's still capable of putting together quality stretches of baseball. Last week was one such instance as Pillette cruised to 2 wins and no losses for the Mission Bells and took the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week Award.
The 37-year-old was at the top of his game last week, eating up 18 innings while posting a 0.50 ERA. He struck out 4 and walked 1.
This season Pillette has gone 12-15 with an ERA of 4.54, posting 62 strikeouts in 230 innings.
