Durst Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Monday, June 11th, 1934 Cedric Durst had an answer for everything the Mission Bells threw at him today at Seals Stadium. The Hollywood left fielder went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Stars on top, 8-3. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Durst said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."
