Curt Davis of Seattle easily handled the Hollywood Stars, stopping them on 7 hits and chucking a complete-game 8-0 shutout.

"He really did a job on us," said Hollywood manager Martin Abresch. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us."

He finished the game with 1 strikeout and 5 walks in a solid outing.

This season Davis has 6 wins and 4 losses and a 4.76 ERA.
