Pillette Dominates, Whitewashes Stars

The Mission Bells shut out the Hollywood Stars 3-0 today behind the strong pitching of Herman Pillette. Pillette surrendered only 5 hits in recording the complete-game victory. He registered 1 strikeout and no walks.
