It was high-fives all around for Johnny Watwood at League Park II today.

He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Cleveland Indians. Watwood smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 15-10 win.

"Johnny was hitting everything," said White Sox manager . "It really was a special game for him."

In the opposing dugout, Indians manager told BNN beat writers that Watwood "ambushed" the club.

"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Watwood oversleeps next time."

Johnny Watwood singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a three-run triple in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 9th.

This season Watwood has banged out 31 hits in 124 at-bats for a .250 average with no home runs. He is getting on base at a .304 pace and his totals also include 9 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
