Dodgers Listless in 9-0 Loss to Pirates

Today was Roy Partlow's turn in the rotation for the Pittsburgh Pirates and he made the most of it, shutting out the Brooklyn Dodgers on 7 hits.
The 28-year-old left-hander led the Pirates to an easy 9-0 victory, allowing 2 walks and tallying 6 strikeouts.
"I hope we miss him next time," Brooklyn manager said. "Partlow certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
