Higbe Tosses Shutout Against Brooklyn

Kirby Higbe was dynamite at Ebbets Field today, blowing away the Brooklyn Dodgers in a shutout victory. The Chicago Cubs starter had everything working as he held the Dodgers to 5 hits in the 7-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said Brooklyn skipper . "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Higbe finished the game with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks.
