AL's Top Hitter Announced

Seasoned by several years of professional experience, 27-year-old Hank Greenberg put together a solid offensive month for Detroit and was crowned September's top batter in the American League.
He batted .378 with 9 home runs, 28 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
In the current season, Greenberg has put up a .401 batting average with 216 hits, 48 home runs, 140 RBI and scored 149 runs.
