Senators Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 15th, 1938 Any faint hope of playoff contention the Washington Senators might have had is now a thing of the past -- the Senators was mathematically eliminated from postseason consideration today. Washington last appeared in the postseason in 1928. This is their 10th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 55 times in their 56-year history. |
