Boston Bees Mathematically Out of Playoffs
Thursday, September 8th, 1938
The Boston Bees never had much playoff hope this season anyway, but now it's official -- the team has been mathematically eliminated from the postseason.
The Bees have missed the playoffs 67 times in their 67 years as a National and American Leagues franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 68th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1869.
